Adipogenesis Bioassays

We offer several methods to study adipogenesis.

  • PPARγ plays important roles in control of adipogenesis. We offer PPARγ reporter assays as a useful tool for studies of this process.
  • We offer an Oil Red O Assay on 3T3-L1 preadipocytes as an in vitro model system for lipid accumulation.
  • The fatty acid binding protein aP2 is an adipocyte marker. We offer an aP2 reporter assay for studies of this protein.
